**Human Rights Activist Calls for Travel Restrictions on Mohbad's Wife Amidst Ongoing Investigation**

Human rights activist Akinola Adelabu-Soul has written to 13 different consulates, urging them to impose travel restrictions on Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, and their son Liam. Adelabu-Soul's letter, titled "Urgent Request to Monitor and Prevent Departure of Mohbad’s Wife and Child," highlights concerns surrounding Mohbad's untimely demise and the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Adelabu-Soul emphasized the shock felt by fans and fellow artists following Mohbad's passing, noting that there are lingering questions surrounding the incident. He underscored Omowunmi's significance in Mohbad's life and urged the embassies to be vigilant in preventing their departure from Nigeria until the investigation is completed.

In the letter, Adelabu-Soul expressed the importance of transparency and accountability during this critical period, stating that the presence of Omowunmi and her child in the country is essential for the investigation process. He called upon the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Lagos State Police Command headquarters to monitor travel-related activities and ensure that Omowunmi remains in the country.

However, when contacted, Omowunmi's lawyer, Taiwo Olawanle, dismissed Adelabu-Soul's intervention, stating that his client has no plans to leave the country. Olawanle emphasized that the authorities are already handling the investigation, and Omowunmi remains committed to uncovering the truth behind her husband's death.

Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Music owned by Naira Marley, passed away on September 12 at the age of 27, sparking controversies and raising questions on social media. His death led to the formation of a special investigation team by the state Police Command, as well as the arrest of several individuals, including Naira Marley and Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry.
